Day Tour to Shala River from Tirana
You will board the minibus from Tirana to the Lake Komani Terminal at 5:15 AM.
The bus will pick you up in Tirana and drive you to the Komani Lake Ferry terminal. This journey by bus takes approximately 3.5 hours. At the end of the bus journey, you will be dropped off at the Komani Lake Ferry terminal, where you will board one of the small boats to the Shala River.
The Shala River boat trip starts between 9:30 AM. Our boat will pick up passengers from the Komani Lake Ferry Terminal.
You will spend a 1.5 hour journey onboard the small boats sailing through the Shala River. The landscape is beautiful and untouched. The Shala river is a combination of turquoise blue water, rocky cliffs and lush nature. It is also known as the “Thailand of Albania”, because of its gorgeous nature.
Around 11:30 AM, you arrive at Shala Beach. Where you can go for a swim, sunbathe and have a lovely lunch at one of the restaurants. You relax and enjoy Shala beach until approximately 15:00 PM, when small boats will bring you back to the Komani Lake Ferry Terminal. From where you return to Tirana.

DAY 1 Activities:
The tour starts from Tirana Meeting Point at 05:15 in the morning. We board the bus and travel for 3h to Komani Lake Pier. Around 09:00 we board the boat that will take us to Shala River. Our boat ride lasts 1.5h through some of the most amazing views by the Lake Koman, and then branching off towards Shala River.
We arrive at Shala River around 10:30am. After that we accommodate at our Guesthouse and relax and enjoy lunch (not included in the price) made with fresh produce of the area and with much love from our hosts. After lunch you will have free time to explore the area. You can do many fun activities like swimming, laying on the beach, kayaking, hiking, zipline or make a campfire.
DAY 2 Activities:
We start the day by having breakfast at our hosts. Around 14:00 is time to return to Tirana. We board the boat and arrive at Komani Pier around 15:30, where we take the bus to return to Tirana
