Day 1: Tirana to Berat and Gjirokastra

3. Berat Castle (Kalaja e Beratit): Explore the historic Berat Castle, a massive fortress overlooking the city. (Optional) Visit the Onufri Museum within the castle, which houses a collection of religious art, including works by the renowned Albanian painter Onufri.
4. Mangalem Quarter: Wander through the charming Mangalem Quarter, characterized by narrow winding streets, Ottoman houses, and the iconic white Ottoman houses with large windows.
5. Gorica Quarter: Cross the Osum River to the Gorica Quarter, where you can enjoy picturesque views of the Mangalem Quarter and the castle.

      2. Overnight Stay in Gjirokastra: Spend the night in Gjirokastra in a comfortable three star private hotel room.

Day 2: Gjirokastra to Saranda and Return to Tirana

Morning: Gjirokastra to Saranda: Saranda – The Pearl of the Albanian Riviera: Discover Saranda, often referred to as the pearl of the Albanian Riviera. Enjoy the perfect natural bay of the Ionian Sea with a stunning view of Corfu Island. Experience the charm of rocky beaches, numerous bays, rich flora and fauna, citrus plantations, olive groves, and vineyards.

2. The Blue Eye – Natural Wonder: On the way from Gjirokastra to Saranda we stop at Blue Eye, a natural wonder. Marvel at the source of fresh water surrounded by evergreen trees. Learn about its mysterious depth and chilly water temperature. Witness the mesmerizing crystal-clear blue water straight out of a fairy tale.

3. Port of Saranda:

Visit the important port of Saranda, a connecting point with Mediterranean countries. Stroll along the promenade by the Ionian Sea, savoring the view. Optional coffee or ice cream by the seaside.

4. Ksamil – The Pearl of the Albanian Riviera: Journey to Ksamil, known as the pearl of the Albanian Riviera. Explore white sandy beaches with a view of four islands. Enjoy the fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, offering a Bora-Bora-like experience. Dive into the turquoise sea and soak up the atmosphere.
