Rafting in Vjosa River Day Tour from Tirana

The tour starts from Tirana at 06:00 in the morning. We pick you up from your accommodation at 06:00. We board the bus and travel for 3.5 hours towards the beautiful city of Permet. On the way we stop for a coffee break and enjoy the nature that the area has to offer. After entering the city of Permet we take the road towards Qilarisht Village, to the Vjosa Rafting Base. After wearing the rafting equipment, we travel for half an hour with a minivan towards our rafting starting point.

On the way we will pass by Benja Ancient Stone Bridge and Thermal Baths at the end of Langarica Canyon. The Langarica canyon is surrounded by the forests and mountains of Dangelli and Shqeri and joins further the Vjosa River.  Inside the canyon there are many caves, a variety of trees and aromatic bushes, and thermal springs formed by sulfur waters which stream from the caves.

Upon receiving the instructions it's time to start our rafting adventure down the Vjosa stream. Our rafting will last  for 3 hours.

Upon finishing our rafting adventure, and lunch (not included in the price) in a traditional restaurant in Permet, its time to return to Tirana with a great experience and memories that will last a lifetime.

We will be in Tirana around 19:00

We arrive at Theth National Park around 10:00am ready to start our Northern Albania Adventure.

Our first stop will be at Reconciliation Tower –  This is a very interesting tower, as this is the place that served as a safe house until the blood feud was resolved between large families in the North of Albania. The guide of the Tower will describe the interesting stories that this tower has witnessed through the centuries. 

Church – Our next stop will be touring the iconic Thethi village church. The church belongs to Catholic Ritual and was built in 1892.

After a short break it's time to start our hiking adventure. Our first hiking activity for the day will be visiting Blue Eye Lagoon. We travel to the small village of Nderlysaj which is a 30 minutes drive from Theth. From there it is a 40 minute hike each way to the Blue Eye. On the way you will experience all Northern Albania nature has to offer.

Upon return back to Theth, we visit the Grunas Waterfall.   We hike for about 30 minutes along the river exploring the whole valley and the last 10 minutes of our hike will bring us to Thethi Waterfall, a miracle of nature.

And with the beautiful adventures in the heart of nature and with memories to last a lifetime we start our journey back to Tirana. We will be in Tirana around 19:00, and drop you off at your accommodation.
